The growth has been consistent over the past 10 years and is expected to be exponential for next 10 years per various studies like NASSCOM’s Booz-Allen-Hamilton Report. The expected business outsourcing to India by 2020 is expected to cross US $40 billion (refer to Figure 1). This growth is expected to create over one million engineering jobs.

Today, all major IT companies in India are targeting Engineering Services as one of their business verticals. Further, a large number of global engineering and automotive companies are setting up their design and development centers in India. Thus there are several job openings for engineers with good domain and software tool skills.
